INSTALAN NUEVAS CÁMARAS DE SEGURIDAD EN VARELA
La subsecretaría de Seguridad municipal hizo saber que comenzaron a funcionar las nuevas cámaras de seguridad que fueron instaladas en la vía pública.
Los dispositivos que entre ayer y el martes, empezaron a reportar imágenes al Centro de Protección Ciudadana municipal, se encuentran ubicados en avenida Novak y El Overo; Alvarez Thomas y Maipú; Boccuzzi y avenida San Martín; y Teniente General Perón y San Martín, con dos cámaras.
Detectan hombre armado
Agentes municipales que se desempeñan en la sala de monitoreo del Centro de Protección Ciudadana permitieron a la Policía detener a un hombre que andaba con un arma de fuego en la vía pública y que, además, junto a su acompañante, eran buscados por la Justicia.
El hecho se concretó el miércoles último, pasado el mediodía, cuando un operario de la dependencia municipal visualizó el monitor que reportaba las imágenes de la cámara instalada en Maipú y Álvarez Thomas, en el barrio Chacabuco: una camioneta, con dos personas a bordo, trasladaba una escopeta.
Desde la Sala de monitoreo, se dio inmediato aviso a la policía de la provincia de Buenos Aires, la cual designó unidades para que se presenten en el lugar.
En la intervención policial, se comprobó que en el vehículo (Fíat Strada) había una escopeta; y que los dos ocupantes tenían búsqueda de paradero activo.
Ambos sujetos fueron trasladados a la seccional primera donde se iniciaron las actuaciones legales correspondientes.
Roba cables detenidos por las cámaras
Agentes municipales evitaron el robo de cables, al dar inmediato aviso a la Policía del accionar de dos sujetos que intentaban realizar cortes en el tendido público, en el barrio Lomas de Monteverde.
El incidente ocurrió hoy, pasadas las 3:00 AM, cuando desde la cámara instalada en Las Heras y Franklin, operarios del Centro de Protección Ciudadana pudieron la labor de las dos personas, identificadas, luego, en la seccional segunda como Hugo C. y David M.
La Policía detuvo a los maleantes en Las Heras y Riobamba.
Colaboraron en el procedimiento, agentes de la Guardia Comunal.
