EL «PULGA» RODRÍGUEZ LLEGA A LA PLATA PARA SER JUGADOR DE GIMNASIA

Luis Miguel «Pulga» Rodríguez llegará en las próximas horas a La Plata para definir su incorporación a Gimnasia y Esgrima y así transformarse en el tercer refuerzo para el equipo dirigido por la dupla integrada por Leandro Martini y Mariano Messera.

Ante la falta de acuerdo con Colón y Atlético Tucumán, la dirigencia del club platense volvió a la carga por el delantero, por quien comenzó las negociaciones hace más de un mes y medio.

El representante del futbolista, Roberto San Juan, confirmó que las negociaciones están muy avanzadas y que, de hecho, está viajando con el futbolista a la capital bonaerense para sellar el acuerdo definitivo.

Desde el cuerpo técnico confían en tener al “Pulga”, aunque expresaron que no quieren hablar hasta que se firmen los contratos y todo sea oficial. Por estas horas el presidente Gabriel Pellegrino, quien el viernes de la semana anterior había manifestado que retiraban la oferta, se llamó a silencio.

A pesar del hermetismo oficial, el acuerdo por la figura y capitán del campeón de la Copa de la Liga Profesional sería por un año y medio, ya que el convenio se rubricaría hasta diciembre de 2022.

La historia del futuro futbolístico de Rodríguez tuvo varios capítulos y tanto Colón, como Atlético Tucumán y Gimnasia, mantuvieron esperanzas y jugaron sus cartas para quedarse con el jugador nacido hace 36 años en Simoca.

En Gimnasia esperan oficializar el acuerdo este lunes para que el jugador luego se realice la revisión médica, firme su contrato y se sume al plantel albiazul que ya tiene como caras nuevas a Nicolás Colazo y el uruguayo Guillermo Fratta.

La dupla técnica además pretende un delantero de área, un lateral y un mediocampista central ante la salida de Víctor Ayala.

Rodríguez debutó en primera en Atlético Tucumán y desde mediados de 2018 se vinculó a Colón, que consiguió ser subcampeón de la Copa Sudamericana y campeón del último torneo local.
