VARELA: CÁMARAS DE SEGURIDAD PERMITEN NUEVAS DETENCIONES DE LADRONES DE CABLES
La subsecretaría de Seguridad municipal informó que el sistema de monitoreo permitió la aprehensión de personas que se encontraban extrayendo cables en la vía pública.
El primer hecho tuvo lugar el domingo a la 1:04 horas en la avenida Perón y la colectora de la Ruta Provincial Nro. 36, del barrio San Juan, cuando operarios del Centro de Protección Ciudadana advirtieron mediante los monitores, a dos personas cortando cables.
De inmediato, alertaron a los efectivos de seguridad sobre el hecho, que no tardaron en hacerse presentes en el lugar. Los sospechosos intentaron fugarse, pero fueron interceptados e identificados gracias al rápido accionar de la Policía que contó con la colaboración de la Guardia Comunal.
Asimismo, a las 2:30 hs del domingo, un acontecimiento similar sucedió en la avenida Luján y Bragado, del barrio Ricardo Rojas, donde se visualizó a dos individuos extrayendo cables de la vía pública. La veloz intervención de los efectivos de seguridad en el lugar de los hechos, permitió la aprehensión de esta pareja, que fue trasladada a la Comisaría Cuarta.
En ambos casos, los sospechosos portaban armas blancas y rollos de cables cortados.
Cabe destacar que la Sala de Monitoreo trabaja las 24 horas los 365 días del año. Además de observar las imágenes que reportan las cámaras, implica la intervención articulada entre las fuerzas de seguridad, el SAME, el sistema Alerta Tel, Defensa Civil y Bomberos.
