SE SORTEAN LOS OCTAVOS DE FINAL DE LA LIBERTADORES CON SEIS ARGENTINOS INVOLUCRADOS
Los cruces de octavos de final de la Copa Libertadores de América se sortearán este martes con seis equipos argentinos involucrados: Boca Juniors, River Plate, Racing Club, Argentinos Juniors, Vélez Sarsfield y Defensa y Justicia.
El evento se realizará a partir de las 13 de Argentina (a las 12 de Paraguay) en la sede de la Conmebol en Luque.
El sorteo no contará con la presencia de los dirigentes de los 16 equipos clasificados por cuestiones sanitarias pero será auditada por una empresa externa a la organización.
En el primer bombo estarán los equipos que terminaron primeros en sus respectivos grupos. En el caso de los argentinos, el mejor ubicado es Racing Club (3°) y luego está Argentinos Juniors (6°).
Los seis restantes son Atlético Mineiro, Palmeiras, Barcelona, Flamengo, Fluminense e Internacional.
Del otro lado están los que finalizaron en el segundo puesto: Boca Juniors (10°), Vélez (11°), Defensa y Justicia (13°) y River Plate (14°).
San Pablo, Cerro Porteño, Universidad Católica y Olimpia completan el segundo bombo.
El «Millonario» es el equipo argentino peor ubicado y eso influirá en la localía para definir las series ya que los mejores posicionados jugarán siempre (hasta semifinales) los partidos de ida como visitante y la vuelta como locales.
El sorteo permite cruces de equipos del mismo país, por lo que tanto Racing como Argentinos Juniors podrían enfrentarse con alguno de los cuatro que estarán en bolillero de los segundos.
