EL ARGENTINO DELBONIS VUELVE AL «TOP 50» DEL RANKING MUNDIAL
El argentino Federico Delbonis retornó al «top 50» del ranking mundial de tenis después de cuatro años y dos meses, tras sus buenas actuaciones en los Masters 1000 de Madrid y Roma.
El azuleño, de 30 años, avanzó 14 lugares y se instaló en la posición 50 para ingresar a un grupo que no integraba desde el 19 de marzo de 2017 cuando abandonó el 49no. peldaño del escalafón.
Delbonis, cuya mejor clasificación histórica fue el puesto 33 (mayo de 2016), alcanzó los octavos de final en el torneo de la capital española y la semana pasada llegó hasta cuartos en Roma.
De esta manera, superó a su compatriota Guido Pella (58) y quedó como el segundo mejor tenista argentino de la actualidad después de Diego Schwartzman, que mantuvo el décimo puesto.
En tanto, el santafesino Federico Coria y el cordobés Juan Ignacio Londero retrocedieron tres lugares cada uno y se ubicaron 94to. y 95to. respectivamente.
