La secretaria de Comercio Interior, Paula Español, recorrió el Mercado Federal Ambulante montado por primera vez en la localidad bonaerense de Morón, acompañada por el intendente local, Lucas Ghi.
Durante el encuentro, los funcionarios sellaron la adhesión del municipio al programa de venta a través de camiones de alimentos itinerantes de bolsones de 5 kilogramos de frutas, hortalizas y verduras de estación a precios mayoristas que se instalará en distintos distritos del Área Metropolitana de Buenos Aires (AMBA).
«Con este programa buscamos acortar la cadena entre productores y consumidores para acercar a los barrios de todo el país alimentos a precios mucho más accesibles», dijo Español en un comunicado de prensa.
n esta primera etapa «vamos a llegar a los municipios del conurbano bonaerense con bolsones, para evitar aglomeraciones en esta situación de pandemia. Luego, tenemos la expectativa de que estén los puestos de feria, no solo con frutas y verduras, sino también con otros productos frescos como carne y lácteos y poder llegar a todas las provincias”, expresó la funcionaria.
Por su parte, Ghi destacó que “esta estrategia coordinada con la Secretaría de Comercio Interior se inscribe en el marco de una relación de trabajo articulado y sostenido en el tiempo desde el inicio de la gestión, para llevar a cabo los distintos programas».
«En este caso, estamos muy contentos de poder contar en nuestro municipio con este mercado ambulante que facilita el acceso a las frutas, verduras y hortalizas de muy buena calidad y a precios accesibles, para garantizar además una dieta rica nutricionalmente reduciendo las intermediaciones”, dijo.
Posteriormente, la funcionaria y el intendente participaron, junto a inspectores de la Secretaría y del municipio, de un operativo de fiscalización de Precios Cuidados y precios máximos en el supermercado Disco de Morón, para verificar el cumplimiento de estas políticas.
La iniciativa “Mercado Federal Ambulante” busca dar alivio a las familias, que van a encontrar productos frescos, de estación y calidad a precios mayoristas, razonables y accesibles cerca de sus casas.
El programa se suma a todas las medidas y herramientas de asistencia que el Estado Nacional, junto con las provincias y los municipios, llevan a cabo para mejorar la calidad de vida de todos los habitantes, fortaleciendo las redes de accesibilidad, achicar las distancias entre productores y consumidores, y garantizar una buena alimentación.
